MIMOBOT Superhero USB flash drives

Boston-based tech designers, Mimoco, the brand behind the popular MIMOBOT line of designer USB flash drives and MIMOMICRO card readers, has collaborated with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment, the biggest and most respected publisher of comic books, to create arguably the cutest and most meticulously designed superhero USB flash drives. All USB sticks come in up to 64GB storage capacities with preloaded bonuses that include MimoryTM and mimoDeskTM, a collection of screensavers, avatars and wallpapers.

It seems like more and more superheroes are making it popular among USB manufacturers. Remember the Avengers USB that came out in May? While those were replicas of the Marvel superheroes themselves, these new Mimoco superhero flash drives come in the shape of a stick, allowing them to fit better in congested USB ports on your PC or laptop.

While The Dark Knight Rises has not yet opened in theaters, Mimoco, DC and Warner Bros. are giving us just a taste with their USB caped crusader. And it’s not just Batman! Bane, the villain in the upcoming movie, joins the desktop fun. However, only those who will be present at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con 2012 will get a chance to see and purchase the limited edition of Bane of “The Dark Knight Rises.”

But don’t get too sad as Mimoco said it is compiling names of those who cannot make it to the event. On a first-come-first-served basis, unsold inventories will be sold to interested purchasers.

Equally impressive are the Superman X MIMOBOT and The Flash X MIMOBOT drives which also promise to transport and save your data securely. Superman even comes with his signature curl.

A vintage Batman and Green Lantern MIMOBOT USB flash drives have were released earlier this year. Drives are sold starting at $14.99 at www.mimoco.com
