Who’s your favorite Looney Tunes? How about having a USB that looks just like your favorite Bugs Bunny?

EMTEC, company known for manufacturing USB flash drives and accessories based on specific character themes, has recently designed and is set to release a second set of their Looney Tunes USB drives. EMTEC accomplished the project by once again collaborating and working under the license of Warner Bros., the behemoth film studio responsible for the Looney Tunes cartoon series. A renewed opportunity for childhood nostalgia, the new EMTEC Looney Tunes flash drives add Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, and Yosemite Sam to the current collection of characters. The previous collection included Looney Tunes characters Tweety, Sylvester, Speedy Gonzalez, and Taz.

According to EMTEC director Henri Vignat, the branch worked closely with Warner Bros. to make sure that the USB flash drives remained faithful to some of the most popular cartoon characters of all time. The process of developing the final look for each USB character involved multiple sketches, mock-up samples, and fine-tuning stages.

The USB drives are made out a soft rubber that have been shaped and painted to represent each of the Looney Tunes characters in the second collection. Each drive measures less than two inches tall, making it a pocketable piece of nostalgia from the get-go. Additionally, each drive also comes with a matching cap for the USB connector. It can be attached to the USB’s body while the drive is in use to prevent the cap from getting lost. Though the Looney Tunes USB flash drive collection is mainly built for the nostalgic appeal, the drives still offer decent performance speeds. Reading speed can reach up to 18 MB/s, and writing speeds can scale up to 8 MB/s. In terms of storage capacity, the user can choose from two options: a 4GB or an 8GB version.

To attract the most users possible, EMTEC’s drives are compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux. The drives are also covered under the company’s five year warranty service.

Just in time for the school season, a Looney Tunes flash drive could make a good present for a back-to-school friend or relative, or even a kid who likes the Warner Bros. collection of cartoon characters. EMTEC plans to release the flash drives to the North American market (US and Canada) sometime this coming November.
